About the Designer

Shola Ajayi is a British born, Nigerian descent designer based in London.

Graduated from Ravensbourne University in 2012 with a BA degree in Womenswear. Her graduate collection was shortlisted for the ethical award at the Graduate fashion week where she emerged as the runner up. This led to a collaboration with Livia Firth (the founder of Eco-Age) on her red carpet dress worn to the Toronto film festival.

She went on to launch her Bespoke label 'SHOLLYJAAY' where she uses traditional hand woven fabric to create unique and elegant pieces.

Shola launched Alosh London to reflect her larger than life personality. After being asked by friends and acquittances often what her secret was to her exuberant personality. she decided to share herself through her designs. 'Alosh' is Shola spelt backwards.
